ABOUT ME
A friend once said I am like a velvet crowbar.
I was almost offended, but it’s a pretty honest assessment.
You see, I meditate daily and I also swear too much.
I cry easily, but I always pick action over chick flicks.
I am typically generous, unless you are arrogant or unkind, or just totally full of shit. Then, watch out.
This is who I am and how I work.
Good listening meets straight talking. Tough questions layered with juicy creative. A mildly neurotic balance of dreaming and doing.
I’ve been copywriting and consulting for over 15 years but a passion for communication is also part of my DNA.
I think words are, or can be, a form of love and it is my great passion and challenge to try to sculpt them into something meaningful I might share with the world.
When I’m not playing with words I enjoy cooking, thrift shopping, killing plants (not really, but can’t seem to help it), moving my body, being in nature, and doing fun stuff with my family.

To quirk is to be human. In which case, more is more.

I am a tried-and-true introvert. So it’s not that I’m shy or don’t like people, they just make me a little sleepy in large doses.
TURNING POINT
I am what you could call (although you probably shouldn’t) an “old” mom. We adopted our daughter after a 10-year, ahem, journey. She is the very best and most exhausting game-changer to date.
I also dabble in poetry.
